Day 6 The Swan Inn, Sidmouth Traditional Free House of character with open fires, a garden, good quality food and an excellent range of beers.
Day 7 The Anchor Inn, Sidmouth We are a traditional seaside pub in my opinion, not gastro food but just good honest English fayre using the best that Devon and the West Country has to offer – Trevor Fudge Landlord
Day 8 The Blue Ball, Sidford The Blue Ball Inn is situated in Sidford just under 2 miles away from the Coastal Town of Sidmouth which has it’s own Beach, plenty of Local Shops and things to do, including; it’s own Cinema and Museum. The Seafront has Coastal walks and plenty of rock pools for shrimping! It’s a paradise for children when the clean pebbly beaches give way at low tide to golden sands.The Donkey Sanctuary is just a short distance away as is The Norman Lockyer Observatory. There has been an Inn on this site since 1385.

Day 10 The Libra Court Shopping Centre, Sidmouth A collection of local shops compromising of the following: Selly’s Licenced Coffee Shop and Cafe, Driftwood, Made, Hotchpotch and The Art Experience.
Day 11 The Colin Craig Day Day 11 of the ride takes us from Carlisle to Southport passing through Preston. The Colin Craig day is in memory of Colin who was originally from Preston but had lived happily in Devon with his family for several years. He was proud of his roots but his career in the Royal Marines soon meant he was to move away from Lancashire. Later on in life he settled down in the West Country and had a successful career as a Paramedic. Boxing was Colin’s first love as a sport and he was always glad to pass on his skills and experience in a way of giving something back to the sport. He would have made an excellent Lifeboat Crewman. In August 2010 Colin sadly passed away after a battle with cancer leaving his wife Lisa and four children Henry, Jessica, Thomas and George.
